ok, there's only 1 event worth updating from the past few weeks of my life...

the blood test result is out - positive for the HLA B27 gene. Meaning I'm gonna rely on medication this life time... sound serious... hmmm. I'm not sure about it cos I supposed I can live with it :) also, I'm gonna be downgraded for my national service as well. Hopefully I won't need to do the IPPT (Individual Physical Proficiency Test). hehe. and no carrying of heavy loads during my ICT(In Camp Training).. heeee...

Life is......unpredictable... Live it once.. live it good ;)

And it's been 2 weeks since my last post..haha...apparently I'm back in Singapore and have been really busy working and meeting up with friends. so below are what I've been up to lately....

Aug9-11 @ Genting.Casino-ing...this time round my parents got lucky!!! heeee...
Aug12 - got a hair cut..real Short....
Aug13 - went down personally to Pasir Labar Camp to do my Deferment for my first National Service Reservist.Head straight to work after that.
Aug14 - work and went shopping. met up with Eve and Bal for dinner.
Aug15 - work
Aug16 - work
Aug17 - work and met Eve, Jo and Ad for dinner @ Food for Thought. went to Upper Serangoon to eat durians.. Eating durian outdoors really give the durians a little more flavour...
Aug18-19 - Sentosa with Yanni, Lishi, Nick, Robin and Brit... Stayed @ Siloso Beach Resort. nice place with a good view :) too bad it rained the whole of 18th and little sun on the 19th 's morning..Met up with Jo and Ad, Jo's bro vincent and his girlfriend Lifang. Headed down to ZoukFlea & Easy @ Zouk aka my favourite club :) This is my 1st time down to ZoukFlea, quite interesting i must say. The people going there dresses up as if they are going for a party.hahaha...but it's candies for the eyes!!haha.. Mediacorp's Artistes like Chen Hanwei, Jade seah and Lina Ng has a stall each.basically this whole event is helping the sellers to get rid of their old stuff in a "fashionable" n "profitable" way. haha.. I would like to try to get a space for the next ZoukFlea. Wish me luck ppl. Nothing caught my eyes from this ZoukFlea. I mean Nothing on display that is..hahha.. Saw a Charlene from Hong kong Canto-pop group Twins look-alike selling her stuff. she caught my attention amongst all those "candies". but it's not because of her looks..cos she's ain't eurasian and doesn't have smokey eyes..hahha.. It's just a feeling... So I braved myself up and approached her.. I managed to pull through and had a little conversation with her. Didn't ask for her no. in the end but I'm just as contented and proud of myself for having the courage to try and Thank you Hazel(that's her name) for ending this rainy weekend with your sunshine smile :) hehe...

so much for the past 2 weeks....

Ankylosing Spondylitis

After more than 2 months of visiting hospitals and going for scans. the specialist suspected that I have Ankylosing Spondylitis after reviewing my bone scan result. The symptoms matched exactly to what I've felt for the past 2 months. However, the result of the bone scan itself is not enough to confirm the diagnosis. Thus, I did a blood test for the presence of HLA B27 gene. If the gene is present in my blood, that means I'm suffering from Ankylosing Spondylitis. If it's not, then what am I suffering from??? ARGH!!! in such a dilemma. On one hand I hope I'm not suffering from Ankylosing Spondylitis cos this disease cannot be cured!! the inflammation can only be controlled by eating painkillers and I'll need to do physiotherapy.But worst of all, I can't play vigorous sports!!! Roller blading, Basketball!!! Can't Stop playing those sports man!!! On the other hand, I wanna know what exactly is wrong with my back!!

I remember some of my friends ask me how I hurt my back and my reply to them is:"it just happened!" True enough.. Ankylosing Spondylitis is a genetic disease...it's inherited.... you can't make yourself get this even if you want to..Too Bad!!!hahaha...but for goodness sake, who in the right state of mind would wanna get any kind of disease.....hahahah...

hmmm... the above description of the suspected reason for my back problem sound serious right.... don't worry, life still goes on.. I'm almost back to normal now cos I've gotten used to the aching pain on my lower back. Meanwhile, U guys out there please take care of yourselves :)

And Bob's the new hair frenzy....I've been seeing lots of ladies out there gearing up with the classic Bob haircut. Retro is coming back! yes.. once again...not as if it's gone.. but it's been brought back to the scene starting with the little dolly dress and then the polka dots accessories and now.. the hair cut. And most importantly, I find the hair cut attractive and sexy in a way...it's got so much attitude in it..hahah...below are some ideas for those who wanna look sexy , have some attitude or just wanna impress me(highly impossible!)...hahaha....

Celebrated Brit's birthday at Brewerkz yesterday with the presence of Yanni, Lishi Nick & me.Robin couldn't make it at the last minute due to gastric. It's been some time since we caught up with one another. The birthday boy treated us dinner. After dinner, we went to Coffee Bean @ Boat Quay to get Britmand a cake...What's a birthday without a cake right??hahah... yup and we wish Brit a Great birthday and may all his wishes come true :)

Dinner at Essential Brew @ Holland Village to celebrate Eve's belated Birthday with Keith, Joanna and Adwin. Nice place with nice waitress..Ahem(roll eyes)...too bad no smokey eyes...hahaha...And In My Humble Opinion, the Al Fungi is nicer than Pasta Mania's..

After which, we went to Eve's favourite Choco place.. Max Brenner @ The Esplanade...indulging ourselves with the thick & smooth cocoa..

As usual the gang will move from places to places...haha.. After the Choco trip, we went to Cosy Bay @ Tanjong Rhu for a little chill out session...quite a nice place too..

I've always thought I'm into eurasians until the day I watched Transformers and saw the female lead actress Megan Fox(below). She's not the "oh so gorgeously pretty" kind of gal but she got a pair of soul sucking eyes (at least they appeal to me). I've gotta admit that she has a hot & toned body too :) hehe. Then I realized that it's those Smokey Eyes that draw my attention to a gal.. I think any gal with smokey eyes will make me melt... haha... now just look at the photos below of megan fox and you might understand what I'm trying to say...heehee
